A joyful list:
Writing for Substack - the joy of typing away!
Homegrown courgettes, roasted, with a huge piece of fresh salmon from the fishmongers (homegrown by a student, not me, just to clarify)
Rediscovering my morning routine of Reiki, oracle cards, journaling. With a cuppa, too? Honestly, the best way to start my day.
Watching bees buzzing in a field of lavender. I had some new brand photos taken this week at a lavender farm. I felt like a will-o-the-wisp, like some kind of lavender elf skipping through the rows. There were so many bees and butterflies, mesmerising to watch them going about their thing.
Long drives with a solid 2000’s playlist. I’ve apparently reached the age where I don’t want to hear new music anymore. Just the stuff from my late-teens/early-twenties, please.
Teaching my new yoga flow - I am loving the transition of chair pose to standing pigeon to Warrior 3. Balance, strength and grace (or wobbles - also fine).
People saying “that’s just what I needed” to me after a class.
What little things are bringing you joy this week?
